• Phillips screwdriver or

Step. 1
Turn off the electric motor. Pull the plug or cut.

Step. 2
Remove the engine cover near the power cord. Electrical components are usually located nearby. Use a type of socket wrench or screwdriver to remove the cover screws.

Step. 3
